The Awakening

I've always dream of travelling to all places. Be it local or international. I want to explore the world but I'm afraid I don't have the confidence to go on a trip alone. I've planned going to places with my friends since college but sadly we have our different paths now. Some of them have their own family and some are working abroad, so who would I go to explore the world with now? Still, my feet are itching to go on a trip. Plus, I have lots of leave to consume from my work. Sayang naman kung di ko magagamit. So I said to myself, "okay, i'll go kahit ako lang. It's a great opportunity na rin to meet new people and to know myself more. And baka along the way makilala ko yung magiging future love ko. Ayoko din na putulin tong dream ko just because my friends cannot accompany me anymore". That's it. So while searching on a place to go on my first trip alone, I found an inspiring blog titled as Solo Female Travel 101: A Guide for Filipinas.  Here's the site: http://www.thepinaysolobackpacker.com/2011/04/19/solo-female-travel-101-a-starter-guide-for-filipinas/

And after reading that blog I became more decisive on travelling even if it's just me. Mind you people, I'm not a loner or emo person. I wanted to go with my colleagues sana kaya lang we were not allowed to go on leave on the same date/s. As for my family, I'm not that rich to treat them all. Pang-isang tao pa lang ang kaya ko. When I got rich why not?

So I think after this introductory post to what my blog is all about, it will be followed by my first adventure. Yeah, it's an adventure. I just don't know yet where will it be. But on 2014, I will definitely visit Macau as a birthday present to myself and on 2015 I plan to go on Seoul. Hopefully my friend Sandra can accompany me there since we've planned the Seoul tour together since last year.

Let me share this quote that I like in the blog post that inspired me:
Language has created the word "loneliness" to express the pain of being alone. And it has created the word "solitude" to express the glory of being alone.
